The Sunday Post - What I use for stress break-out!

Hi Everyone,

My last final is in a day and a half, on Tuesday and it is very late on a Sunday right now. I wanted to make a little Sunday Post here just to get my mind off things and share with you some of the things I have been using to battle the affects that stress has on my skin!

I am not wearing as much make up as usual and I keep on touching my face and when I wake up in the morning and I am not putting on makeup I sometimes forget to wash my face. So it gets very gross when that happens. (eww)

Anyway since its has been three weeks of being in study-land I have developed a little routine for keeping my skin clear.

Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed, Super self-heating face mask: This is a great mask! It is self heating and that was scary at first but now I am in love with it, I only use it every two weeks and it works very well, It really does clear out your pores and unclog any dirt you have. I really feel like my skin is brand new after I get out of the shower when I use this.

Dr Jart+ Clear Away Gel, Exfoliates and Smoothies Skin's surface, This gel exfoliater has very fine mild corns in it. It is meant to use only once or twice a week but I have been using this as a daily cleanser. Since it is just like a gel and not like an exfoliator it has been great. It really helps keeping the spots at minimum and my skin feels great after washing.

La Roche-Posay, Effaclar Duo, This product is amazing, I have had it for a while but I only use it for few weeks and then I save it until I need it. I feel like if I use it everyday for a long time, my skin adjusts to it. This products helps with clogged up pores, it just clears my skin. Effaclar Duo is corrective and unclogging anti-imperfection care. I personally think it stink, as in smells really bad, is that just me? haha but it really works. I use it every morning, before my moisturizer.

Neutrogena, Visibly clear Spot Stress Control. Ultra light spot treatment moisturiser. This moisturiser is very light and feels very nice on the skin. I actually bought it for my boyfriend since he was looking for a light spot treatment. As you can see I have completely stolen it from him and I am using this at night at the moment. It does not dry up my skin, it makes it feels very soft and I love the smell of the product.

The other thing that I have been loving when I get like one big spot straight on my nose, is tea tree oil, I have some from the Body Shop in a small container, I think when that runs out I might go and buy a full size tea tree oil. I use a q-tip and just dip it in the oil and apply it on the spot. The next day it has almost gone! I really love using the tea tree oil.

Keep in mind that every skin is different, please write down in the comments what you use and works for you to get rid of stress spots :)

Btw, I actually use all of these products when I get hormonal spots as well, you know... that can be fun, when I wake up with a BIG spot straight on my nose...

Anyway, wish me good luck on Tuesday and then I am finally finished with my finals!!

Thanks for reading

Lately...

Hi Everyone,

I started writing this post 13 days ago...

.. it is 1st of December! I am very excited for Christmas since I have spent the last two Christmas' in London. So excited for family time, I will finish school on the 17th and then everyday until Christmas I offered to work at the shoe store..

So now its about two weeks later.. How is that possible? Well I have five finals, four down and one to go. The next one is on Tuesday and then I am free, at least for few weeks :D

For me December is just starting, I have bought one Christmas present, for myself! and shoes for the other half actually.

Image is from my Tumblr, Check it out here

I wanted to share with you few items that I have been using over the last few days, I'm studying from morning to evening everyday but I still want to look fresh or at least like I'm alive haha

For my foundation the Bourjois healthy Mix Serum and for extra coverage I use the Maybellin Fit me concealer, I love it so much.
Nex I use the elf cream blusher and bronzer duo in St. Lucia.
To take away any shine, I am using the Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder, just in the center of my face.
I use Benefit cream eyeshadow, I have two of them and I like them both but in the photo is My two cent.
Maybelline the Falsies has been my mascara of choice and if I feel like it, the Jordana eyeliner is so easy and quick to use.
For lips it's either the Revlon Lip butter in Strawberry Shortcake (Blog post here) or my new Rimmel Color Rush lipbalm in Rumor Has it, so easy but so pretty.
But the main thing are the brushes I have been using none stop through the whole final month.

Real Techniques brushes:
The Buffing brush from the Core Collection - brilliant and so quick to blend out my foundation and even my concealer,
Blush brush - I actually use it or my powder at the moment.
Contour brush - I use this brush in the cream blush and bronzer
The base shadow brush from the Starter collection - Brilliant brush to blend out cream
 eyeshadow.

I have been loving using cream products for these last few weeks, it is really all about being quick applying my makeup these days but still look like I am not a zombie! haha

Thanks for reading!
I will be back before Christmas and I can't wait to get back to my 'Little' blog
