L'Oreal Caresse Shine Stain - Juliet & Romy - My thoughts

I got my hands on the 'new' L'Oreal Caresse Shine Stain in the colors Juliet 300 and Romy 102 and here are my thought on them, Please do let me know if you have tried them, what did you think and if not, do you want to try them?

First off... Look at the packaging, so elegant and beautiful, the light golden metal with the color stripe is so nice.
These have surprised me a lot, people seemed to confuse them with normal lipstick stains that just stay put all day and then flake off (which I hate) but these are very glossy but stain as well.

They wear off nicely and evenly. They do feel a bit sticky and I am fine with that while I am at work but if I know I am going out with my boyfriend I will not wear them as I don't want to have sticky lips haha - for obvious reasons

I normally apply them on around 10 in the morning and at 14:30 they are still on, the color is still there but the gloss has worn off. That means good color for at least 4 hours!

I thought I would not like them at first since the color does not look that opaque on the lips but if I think about it as a long wearing lipgloss - I Love it

The color Juliet 300

The application it self is nice, The wand has that heart shape and is easy to use, They formula goes on very smoothly.
I saw on one of the stands in store that it says feels like water, well it goes on like thick water (gross description but hey) but it does not feel like water on the lips hahah it is a bit stickier than that.

The color Romy 102

These are apparently dupes for the YSL glossy stains, I have not tried the YSL glossy stains so I can not comment on that :)
But they are affordable £7.99 and right now Boots has them on 3 for 2 :)
Swatches on my hand, only one layer. Really pretty colors :)

Step by Step - Purple and Gold Eyes

Few weeks ago I changed my cover photo on My Little Corners Facebook page (link here) and obviosly it has been edited and filters added but here is the step by step how I did this look and how easy it is.

So here goes nothing!

I applied Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in Pink Gold as my base.
This cream eyeshadow has a pretty pearly shine to it.

Next I used one of my all time favorite eyeshadow in my crease. Urban Decay Naked from the Original Naked palette.
This eyeshadow is the best blending color I know of and is super natural.

I grabbed my Coastal Scent 88 Shimmer Palette and I used a light shimmer pink color all over the lid, where I put the Maybelline Color tattoo eyeshadow as a base.
This palette has every color possible and I love how smooth the shadows are.

I used one of the lightest shade in the 88 shimmer Palette, it is very shimmering, has pink undertones and is amazing inner corner highlighter and opens up the eye.

I used the color on the other side of the palette and this is a dark purple color, I used a angle brush and a light hand and placed it in the outer corner and blended the color into my crease.

I went back into my Original Naked Palette and took the Half Baked eyeshadow on a small smudger brush and placed it under my eye.

I used my favorite gel eyeliner from Maybelline, but I feel like it dries out quickly so I always scoop some on to my hand to warm it up and I feel that it works much better that way.
I lined my top lash line and my waterline and I did a small winged liner.

I used my favorite mascara these days and that is Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express in Waterproof.
It keeps my curl all day and I need to do a review on this mascara because it is amazing!

And this is the complete look! Super easy and I think it looks

That is the complete look, I finished it with a light pink lipstick and a soft blush.

Let me know if you like these step by step posts :)

Thanks for reading as always

The Weekly Roundup in Photos #1

Hi everyone :)

My Instagram is not working properly, I have unistalled it about 7 times and it never posts photos for me. When it is time to 'puplish' the photo it just appears gray. It is getting annoying, so I am posting some of my photos that I have been taking, and hopefully I will be doing this every few weeks or every week.

So here are some of my looks from this week and I will try to take photos of the products used next time!

I actually manage to post this photo on Instagram
Lipstick: Maybelline Vivids in Shocking Coral
Instagram : margretscorner

Playing around with new Dainty Doll Lipstick in 001 Couture.
Paired with light eye makeup, natural gold eyeshadow and mascara.

New No7 eyeshadow in a Khaki color, I have been dying to get a khaki eyehshadow for a long time and I finally found one.

Again with new No7 Eyeshadow duo in Iridescent Purple and nude lips.
I am actually wearing the Urban Decay Naked Lipsgloss over my lipstick

I used to have the Christina Aguilera perfume when it first came out, right now the 30 ml is on a offer for £9.95. Boots is only carrying the 50 ml bottle so the 30 ml is on a super good offer. So I grabbed one bottle and I still love it!

Hope you like posts like this
